Protecting sovereignty

In an increasingly complex and contested security environment, European countries face a growing need for cutting-edge radar and Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) technologies to protect their sovereignty and ensure operational readiness. With threats ranging from advanced missile systems and stealth aircraft to sophisticated electronic attacks, modern armed forces require robust, adaptable, and innovative solutions to maintain a technological edge.

Support decision-making in high-pressure scenarios

At HENSOLDT, we are committed to addressing these challenges by equipping European armed forces with next-generation radar and EW systems. Our technologies enhance situational awareness, provide superior protection against evolving threats, and support decision-making in high-pressure scenarios.

A trusted partner for European defence

HENSOLDT’s innovative radar and EW technologies enable European armed forces across the continent to address today’s military challenges while preparing for future threats.

Our proven solutions provide the detection, protection, and intelligence needed to maintain security and operational superiority across all domains.

A vivid example for such a proven system is the TRML-4D radarm which has already been reliably proving its detection capabilities against Russian attacks in Ukraine for more than two years. It is based on the latest AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) radar technology and guarantees the rapid detection and tracking of around 1,500 targets within a radius of up to 250 kilometres.

Spexer 2000 3D MkIII: With supplying our SPEXER air defence radars for use in the new Skyranger 30 anti-aircraft gun tank (FlakPz) by Rheinmetall Air Defence, HENSOLDT is further expanding its position as a national technology champion for air defence sensors.

Kalaetron Integral: This SIGINT solution from HENSOLDT forms the base for the upcoming Persistent German Airborne Surveillance System (PEGASUS), which will boost the signal intelligence capabilities of the German Air Force.

**Twinvis: ** This passive radar is based on the latest digital technology that can be used in long-range military airspace surveillance or, in the medium term, in civil air traffic control. A passive radar acts purely as a receiver, i.e. it does not transmit itself, and locates targets by evaluating reflected signals from existing third-party transmitters. Several systems are under contract with customers inside and outside NATO.
