Sensor solution provider HENSOLDT and the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation IOSB have jointly published a new study on the ethical responsibility for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in military environments.

Sensor solutions provider HENSOLDT will present its latest technological advancements at Avalon Airshow 2025 in Geelong from 25 to 30 March 2025. One of HENSOLDT's core competencies is the active and passive detection of threats and the protection of platforms and their users. In this context, software-defined defence plays a crucial role.

Sensor specialist HENSOLDT and TUM Venture Labs, a joint initiative of the Technical University of Munich and UnternehmerTUM, have signed a partnership agreement. HENSOLDT will be an active industrial partner of the TUM Venture Lab "Aerospace & Defense". The aim of the cooperation is to intensify the exchange between industry and research and to create joint potential for future investments in promising start-ups.

The sensor solutions provider HENSOLDT is further expanding its production capacities. A new anechoic chamber for SPEXER radars has been put into operation at the Ulm site. The total investment volume amounts to more than one million euros.
