Target group
- Operators, maintenance staff and engineers
Prerequisites
- Previous participation in QRTK4NG – Operator Training (O2) if crypto use is required
- Basic knowledge of IFF and SSR
- Knowledge of NATO Mode 5 according to customer usage of the BTI
Objectives
- Create and adapt test scenarios in accordance with field requirements and constraints
- Run interrogator and transponder tests
- Save, read and extract test results
- Execute preventive maintenance

- Training includes BTI 1000I – Basic Training (OT1)
- Hardware to be provided by the customer: IFF host (BTI 1000I) for the practical session, QRTK4NG cryptographic computer (which can be connected to the host; only if crypto use is required), key and time loader (or a time loader and a key loader) with Mode 5 test keys
- Security Classification: NATO RESTRICTED
