Spexer 360
Surveillance radar for security applicationsThe challenge
Small UAVs are a growing threat in the battlefield. With their small signature and high manoeuvrability, they can catch troops by surprise. Dedicated radar technology is required to engage traditional ground, surface and air threats such as persons, vehicles, ATGMs, TASMs, pop-up helicopters and ground attack aircraft, as well as the new, small and micro-UAV threats and loitering munitions.
The challenge is to achieve military and civil surveillance and provide operators with a clear picture of the situation. The right radar solution will provide detection data and target classification in time to counter these threats while on the move or stationary. The chosen system selected must be accurate in all environments and locations and on all platforms.
Our solution
Versatile and comprehensive radar solutions can prevent troops and assets from being taken by surprise. SPEXER 360 is a lightweight, low-power, X-Band radar designed for use on a variety of platforms, including vehicles, masts and ground-based applications. It can be easily integrated with additional sensors through a highly flexible C2 system.
Spexer 360 provides highly efficient and affordable military and civil surveillance capabilities with intuitive user software. Applications range from border security and military surveillance to critical infrastructure protection – even in adverse weather conditions.
Spexer 360 can detect micro-UAVs at a range of 1.6 km, walking people at up to 5.6 km, small vehicles at up to 10 km and larger vehicles at up to 12 km.
