Pilot Selection System (PSS)
Simulation-supported and objectiveThe challenge
Being a pilot is considered a highly challenging job as it requires a high level of skill, knowledge, and responsibility.
Pilots are responsible for the safety of their passengers and crew, as well as the aircraft they are flying. They must be able to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations and have a thorough understanding of aviation regulations and procedures.
Facing these circumstandes, it can be difficult to ensure that your pilots have the necessary skills and aptitude to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Creating different levels of complexity for aptitude tests and automating the control of mission sequences can also be a challenge in training and recruitment.
Our solution
In order to increase the efficiency and quality of flight training, the Pilot Selection System (PSS) uses data to objectively test the suitability of pilot candidates before training begins.
Our pilot workstation can be configured as a single or two-seater cockpit and the dynamic flight behaviour and cockpit layout can be varied to create different levels of complexity for aptitude tests.
Another functionality of the PSS is the GUI-based definition and creation of event and consequence chains for the automated control of mission sequences.
