I-Sys
Conditioning and instantiation toolThe challenge
Combat management systems (CMS) in the German Navy rely on information exchange in various ways. They act as a crucial link between platform-specific sensors and effectors, connecting them by means of standardised data exchange (Links 11 / 16 / 22).
The growing demand for information is also addressed by cross-sectional programmes like the German Mission Network and its marine-specific projects, which help to harmonise the leadership information systems of the German Navy.
Moreover, modern command and weapon deployment systems are increasingly characterised by comprehensive parameterisation. These systems interact with one or more supplementary data sets to allow for mission-specific and potentially position-dependent influences on their operation within the functional chains, especially in automated processes.
Our solution
We have been providing the I-Sys conditioning and instantiation tool for creating system conditions and configuration since 2013.
I-Sys is a reliable distributed database system with a client / server architecture designed for industrial applications. It excels in seamlessly importing existing industrial data deliveries into the database and efficiently exporting parameterisation products.
The system also handles the editing and validation of specific deployment requirements to ensure data accuracy and consistency. With robust versioning capabilities, I-Sys enables the creation of baselines and effective configuration management.
Users benefit from thorough checks on data sets, which ensure adherence to rules regarding consistency, validity of associations and compliance with value ranges. I-Sys is a comprehensive solution for managing data effectively and ensuring compliance with system rules.
