M1 Abrams ELRF

HENSOLDT´s dedicated eyesafe laser rangefinder (ELRF) for the M1 Abrams main battle tank can replace all non eye-safe and eye-safe LRFs, which have been used in the M1 main battle tank before.

After successful field tests by the US Marine Corps (USMC) and US Army in all configurations of the M1 Abrams, the USMC selected our M1 ELRF for their entire M1 fleet as well as the US Army and Egypt.

HENSOLDT has further developed the sensor with improved range accuracy (< ± 1,5m up to 5.000m) and other features for M1 ECP 1b (Engineering Change Proposal).

Also available as M1 LRFD and integrated 80mJ Laser Target Designator.
