Our solution
The DL-6000 is an internet protocol (IP) based, high data and video communications link, which provides for the transmission of secure, high-definition video and telemetry data from the manned/Unmanned airborne platform to the ground-based C3 centres. Several radios may be networked together enabling a distributed payload/platform control and display capability, allowing system integrators to implement a flexible system architecture.
The DL-6000 presents integrators with an all in one, single form factor which is both cost-effective and offers extended MTBF, ensuring extended operational reliability and performance in any condition. The product is specifically optimised for airborne communications link applications in terms of mass, power output, power consumption, volume, heat dissipation and performance set.
The terminal is a software defined radio (SDR), incorporating system on module (SOM) architecture which provides users with future-proof flexibility and performance adaptability to changing operational requirements.
The DL-6000 offers full backwards compatibility with the HENSOLDT DL-5000 range of data link and serves as the core to HENSOLDT's family of flexible, future-proof next-generation communication solutions, which include ground and airborne directional and mobile ground command and control stations.
