Deploying tactical Data links face several issues, primarily related to interoperability, security, and bandwidth limitations. Interoperability problems arise due to differing standards and protocols among allied forces, complicating joint operations.
Security concerns include vulnerabilities to cyber-attacks and electronic warfare, necessitating robust encryption and countermeasures. Bandwidth constraints limit the volume and speed of data transmission, affecting real-time information sharing and operational efficiency.
Our solution
NEX22 provides a "stand-alone" L22 interoperability function, not connected to the ship's sensors and mission management system.
The system is connected to the shipboard radio and can integrate an L22 network, exchange orders and enhance tactical situations.
NEX22 is a rugged, power and autonomous data link solution including the transmission and reception of tactical data on ‘2 Nile Networks’.
