Optimising aircraft availability
The challenge
To cover any and all operational eventualities that may arise, you need to have as many aircraft as possible available at all times. Failure to prevent a shortage of ready aircraft in the theatre of operations is essentially the same as adding adversary aircraft to that same scenario.
Part of this effort involves reducing aircraft life cycle costs by optimising operator maintenance capabilities and work orders through efforts such as monitoring engine trends.
Our solution
HENSOLDT OptaLog monitors life cycle accounts, engine trends as well as failure reports from aircraft operations and creates work orders for aircraft maintenance in the ERP system. It displays and analyses all relevant maintenance data from any logistical data media. It evaluates these maintenance data-processing-relevant aircraft manufacturer specifications, optimising the decision basis for necessary user interactions.
Offering read and write support of the interface to ERP systems such as the German Bundeswehr’s SAP system, OptaLog is scalable on standalone COTS computer hardware up to data centres or deployable modules with synchronised information exchange between all instances.
HENSOLDT OptaLog makes OS-independent client solutions possible.
