The situation calls for multiple capabilities including a high probability of detection, avoidance of false alarms, monitoring of threats as they evolve as well as their points of origin, maximum clarity in the operational situation and prevention of workload saturation.
The missiles targeting your forces and platforms give you little time to react and respond, and the support typically available for countermeasure selection is suboptimal.
Furthermore, to operate “silence” the warning system that protects your forces must operate passively – with no detectable ‘emissions’.
Our solution
Meet DCIR System – the Dual-colour infrared missile warning system. When deployed, it is up to the challenges airborne crews face, using the two-colour infrared technology in the missile warner system the next level of warning performance is reached. DCIR System has a central computer unit with up to 7 next-generation infrared sensors that deliver highest confidence in the probability of warning and extended detection ranges by reducing the false alarms.
Its capabilities include detection and localisation of hostile fire; complete, spherical 360° coverage; and real-time panoramic view Infra-Red images.
The harshest conditions of fighter platforms as a baseline and the optimized SWAP (Size, Weight and Power), qualifies AMPIRS to be deployed in any platform and under any conditions.
