The challenge

You must contend with media breaches between the ERP system on which AC-specific maintenance data are stored while also managing important, location-specific information about available resources such as maintenance documentation.

And yet, when managing and controlling the status of platforms and organising the fleet, you must consider data that come from both sources.

Ideally, the system you need should provide two main functional blocks. One would be a ‘tec.-state overview’, containing aircraft-specific status information, equipment and staff availability as well as task-scheduling. And the other would involve maintenance and flight-hour planning with which authorised users could schedule maintenance tasks in keeping with the aircraft-maintenance plan (AMP).

Our solution

OptaFEP is HENSOLDT´s solution for the challenge of integrating ERP-stored aircraft maintenance data with location-specific resources to manage platform status and fleet organization effectively. The system that facilitates efficient management of aircraft fleets in the context of technical logistics operations.

OptaFEP, the OPTARION module for fleet management, facilitates the efficient operation of any platforms characterised by high demands in terms of availability and usage costs – and is not limited to aircraft fleets alone.
With OptaFEP, you can coordinate and manage the resources of personnel, material and maintenance docks. It merges A/C data between and among ARP systems as well as with unit and site-specific data.

It offers web-based HMI, providing access to authorised users working with standard PCs or mobile devices.
