The challenge
For military, border patrol, maritime surveillance and law-enforcement operations, commanders require real-time intelligence in areas of operational interest. To detect, identify, track and geolocate objects of interest, they need proven airborne reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting capabilities that enable successful operations – even in poor visibility.
Objects of interest may be static or moving, and whether the mission is force protection or law enforcement, commanders and operators need seamless situational awareness, including high-quality images in a variety of lighting conditions, as well as long-range target recognition in all weather conditions. The required solution should provide image-fusion capabilities that combine thermal, daylight and SWIR sensors for the best possible visibility, even in the most challenging environments.
