HENSOLDT’s Space Situational Awareness (SSA) solutions will be on display at the trade fair. They are designed to provide complete visibility of the ever-changing dynamics in Earth’s orbit. The advanced sensors and radar technologies track and characterise thousands of objects, from active satellites to hazardous space debris, ensuring missions are planned with precision and the safety of critical assets is maintained. Within the framework of this solution, HENSOLDT and the University of Tasmania formed the Southern Guardian Partnership in 2021. The Partnership combines the capabilities of HENSOLDT with the Australia-wide network of space sensors owned by the University. In addition, HENSOLDT's Spectrum Battle Management Suite (SBMS) is the solution for tactical and strategic network operations in spectrum battle management. A simple and user friendly interface together with next generation sensors guarantees field situational awareness on all levels.
Beyond that, the HENSOLDT radars SPEXER and Air Surveillance Radar - Next Generation systems (ASR-NG) will be exhibited. The SPEXER radar family offers high-performance surveillance radars for various ranges for automatic detection and classification of ground, sea and low-flying air targets. The SPEXER 2000 is part of the new Skyranger 30 cannon-based air defence vehicle from Rheinmetall Air Defence. Furthermore, HENSOLDT has signed 2024 a contract with Space Centre Australia (SCA) to deliver two ASR-NG along with a 20-year sustainment plan to bolster Australia's critical air surveillance capabilities.
Finally, HENSOLDT will demonstrate ARGOSIA, which is a range of embedded SURMAR and ISR mission systems designed to meet the requirements of air surveillance and intelligence missions. Together with battle-proven sensors and equipment selected for their reliability and performances, ARGOSIA proposes many system configurations meeting the needs of defence, maritime and overland surveillance, law enforcement, Search & Rescue as well as IMINT and SIGINT missions. This modular and multi-console system consists of the Mission Management System software ARGOSIA, which integrates an advanced digital cartography engine, a sensor-fusion algorithm and powerful decision-support tools that help optimize operator workload.
