HENSOLDT AG publishes its first sustainability report

Reporting to stakeholders on all activities in the areas of environment, social affairs and corporate governance.

HENSOLDT AG publishes its first sustainability report looking back at 2020.

Taufkirchen, 29 April 2021 - Sustainability is a central component of HENSOLDT's corporate culture. In April 2021, HENSOLDT publishes a sustainability report for the first time to inform its stakeholders about activities of the HENSOLDT Group in the areas of environment, social affairs as well as good corporate governance. The report provides an overview of Talent Development and Diversity, Responsible Business Practices, Community Engagement, Planet, Environment and Resources.

The report was prepared in accordance with the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the requirements of the CSR Directive Implementation Act (CSR-RUG). As a concretisation of the ten principles of the UN Global Compact Standard - which HENSOLDT has joined - the guidelines are also recognised. The GRI guidelines are intended to help the participating companies to fulfil the commitments they have made and to make the resulting report comparable in the international environment. The international structure of HENSOLDT requires the reporting system to be adapted to this in the long term.

The company takes its responsibility as a global citizen and sustainable local business very seriously and has set itself the goal of pioneering technologies and human potential that promote the protection of all species worldwide. At the same time, its activities serve the higher purpose of securing the freedom and future of our planet, our nature and our lives.

In line with HENSOLDT's sustainability goals, the 2020 report is preferably available online.
