The rapidly emerging threat from small, cheap and easily available UAVs, seems to be permanently in the news. This threat is now of rising concern to all security services - military, homeland and civilian. Recent high profile incidents at airports, critical infrastructure and high traffic public events have resulted in significant financial losses. Forward operating bases (camp protection) and vehicle based C-UAV defence systems are prominent military applications.
