The OMS 300 Ultra-low Profile Mast (ULP) is HENSOLDT´s latest enhanced sensor system in the proven design of the OMS family. It integrates the latest sensor technologies to include Short Wave Infrared (SWIR), Mid-wave Infrared (MWIR) and High-Definition TV capabilities, all in a smaller volume to increase a submarine´s stealth effect. This ultra-thin solution allows the integration into all types of submarines from the newly built to retrofit programs.
The OMS 300 ULP was specifically designed to increase the stealth characteristics in the visual, infrared and radar domains. The high image quality and resolution of the integrated MWIR camera can be complemented with a SWIR system that provides improved vision in haze and fog conditions. Additionally, the OMS 300 ULP allows interchangeability with the proven OMS 200, allowing for swap-out in a short period of time.
