The LP18D laser range finder was developed to meet a requirement to measure ranges to a moving object. The LP18D measures at 3Hz, with a 30 second 6Hz burst mode, but is also available in a 1Hz version.
The range gate is set at 10km. A key feature is the boresight camera which allows for convenient and accurate boresight alignment with the host system.
