Immenstaad, Germany, 11 November 2020 – This year, HENSOLDT was recognised as one of the most family-friendly companies in Germany for the fourth time already. As early as 2019, HENSOLDT has set up parent-child offices at its sites in Taufkirchen near Munich and in Ulm to make it easier for parents to balance family and career.
The parent-and-child office in Immenstaad on Lake Constance was made possible by the site's personnel management on the initiative of the staff at the site. With this, HENSOLDT enables its employees to bring their child to the workplace and supervise it themselves if the usual care is unexpectedly unavailable at short notice but their presence in the company is required. The parent-child office is an office space which has been converted and equipped for the use of one parent with a child. The room combines an office workplace with a play or rest area with beanbags for employee children up to the age of 14. From a changing table to books, a painting table, toys, wooden construction toys and puzzles, all age groups are catered for.
