Taufkirchen, 20 December 2021 – The employees of the sensor solutions provider HENSOLDT have collected presents for over 300 children in a Christmas gift campaign at the locations in Ulm, Immenstaad on Lake Constance and Taufkirchen near Munich.
In cooperation with "Aktion 100.000" and "Ulmer helft" as well as with the initiatives "Geschenke mit Herz – Weihnachten im Schuhkarton" (Gifts with a Heart – Christmas in a Shoebox) of humedica e.V. in Bavaria and „Kinderstiftung Bodensee e.V.“, it was possible to support families who could not afford presents financially. In Ulm, the gifts went to the "Guter Hirte" children's home, the Friedrich Bodelschwingh School, the Jörg Syrlin School, the Förderkreis ausländische Kinder e.V., the Diakonische Bezirksstelle Ulm and the Schillerschule in Erbach, among others.
"We are happy when we can offer our employees a platform for social commitment through such campaigns," says the person responsible for donations and sponsorships at HENSOLDT, Nora Urban.
At HENSOLDT's Taufkirchen, Ulm and Immenstaad sites, around 4,000 employees are involved in the development and production of complex safety electronics, including radars, electronic protection systems and avionics. Most of the employees are engineers and technicians, and about 200 young people are in training.
