Ulm, 18 January 2022 – The sensor solution provider HENSOLDT supports Aktion 100.000 and “Ulmer helft”, an initiative of the Südwest Presse in Ulm with an amount of 5,000 euros. At the Ulm site, HENSOLDT COO Peter Schlote hands over the symbolic donation cheque to Karl Bacherle, the Chairman of the Board of the campaign.

The current Corona pandemic poses great challenges for children, families, young people and people with disabilities. "As a company firmly rooted in the region, we have been donating to “Aktion 100.000” for many years. We want to express our solidarity with our immediate surroundings and give something back in this way," says Peter Schlote, HENSOLDT COO and site manager in Ulm.

Last year, a wish tree campaign took place again in cooperation with Aktion 100.000 and "Ulmer helft". A total of 226 wishes from disadvantaged children in the region were fulfilled thanks to the active support of our employees.

HENSOLDT takes its responsibility as a global citizen and sustainable local company very seriously and has set itself the goal of pioneering technologies and human potential that promote the protection of all species worldwide. It is also for this reason that HENSOLDT supports numerous initiatives aimed at sustainable investment in local communities, education, employees and the environment.
