Ground troops need electronic protection systems which keep them save from threats imperceptible to the naked eye such as improvised explosive device (IED).
They also need reliable systems which detect radar and laser guided missiles and initiate the appropriate counter measures. We provide integrated electronic warfare systems and self-protection system which keep land and security forces safe.
Steel isn’t everything
We offer high-class self-protection system for vehicles. Passive electronic warfare sensors detect and identify missile threats at a very early stage. These sensors for radar, laser and missile warning enhance the survivability of endangered vehicles.
Hits by enemy anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) can be prevented by warning sensors which can detect a threat from missiles or laser beams and then initiate corresponding countermeasures.
Protecting ground forces from IEDs
An improvised explosive device (IED) is a homemade bomb constructed and deployed in asymmetric threat scenarios. It may be constructed of conventional military explosives, such as an artillery round, attached to a detonating mechanism. Roadside bombs are a common use of IEDs and are a major threat for peace keeping forces.
Besides mechanical detonation mechanisms, there are the radio-controlled (RC) ones. Via any conventional radio devices such as garage door openers, cell phones etc. bombs are detonated remotely. We use different jamming technologies in order to suppress any radio-controlled activities nearby a passing convoy (military, civil or VIP) or individuals. Similar solution may be applied for the protection of buildings.
For example, our high powered mobile and lightweight man-portable jammers protect convoys and troops alike. The jammers prevent the detonation of RF-triggered explosive devices with advanced adaptive jamming waveforms, able to suppress multiple simultaneous trigger signals anywhere in the RF spectrum.
We offer a wide range of solutions for electronic protection for land forces.
