Any defect in a product not recognized in time could end up being the cause of costs or in the worst case harm the reputation of the company. In order to counteract this danger, our products are tested in our test centers; from the development up to the qualification according to strict standards for their electromagnetic compatibility and environmental resistance.
By using the services of our laboratories, you too can benefit from our high-quality standards. We do not distinguish between our products and your products. Our demands are high – often beyond those of industry standards.
The test center of HENSOLDT Optronics in Oberkochen is accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) agreement gives our test results international recognition.

EMC is the characteristic of electrical and electronic equipment or systems to function satisfactorily in their electromagnetic environment, without inadmissible affecting their environment. The electromagnetic compatibility of devices is becoming increasingly important in a more complex environment.
In Europe and other parts of the world, compliance with emission and immunity limits is regulated by law. Without these regulations, interference-free operation of radio services and of electronic devices would no longer be conceivable today.

Environmental influences are ubiquitous and can negatively impact the performance, reliability and durability of a technical product.
The main objective of testing is to prove product reliability under the influence of extreme environmental conditions.
In addition, environmental changes in the behaviour of the test specimens can be determined within a short period of time, enabling targeted optimisation of the products.
