LEONIE

System Engineer

„I always wanted to work at an international company with technically challenging and innovative development activities. For this reason, and because I am fascinated by radar technology, I chose HENSOLDT.“

I just started my career in the Systems Engineering Department for Radar Processing. Before that, I‘ve successfully finished my “Double Master Degree” in Electrical Engineering (German Degree) and Electronic Engineering (UK Degree) by writing my Master Thesis in the Development Department for Naval and Ground Radar Systems, where I‘ve already done my internship and my Bachelor Thesis.

I am involved in various projects and products and therefore get many different and interesting insights into the development process of HENSOLDT at the beginning of my career.

I really like the collegial and pleasant working environment, as well as the fact that the whole product development, starting with the idea and ending up with a new product (radar), is practised in the company.

About HENSOLDT

The possibilities of continuing education in technical competences and soft skills are great. Besides there are good opportunities to establish a network within the company, by joining the offered off-the-job trainings (language courses) and leisure activities (dragon boat training and competitions).
